Giselle is a dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and accepting clients in Ontario, Canada. Growing up in Ontario, Giselle has devoted her career to supporting children with developmental delays, advocating for child welfare, and providing mental health support and psychoeducation to low-income families. Her sincere compassion and empathy towards children are central to her mission of promoting safety and family harmony. Transitioning her focus from children to adults, Giselle practiced within the Cayman Islands Prison Service, gaining experience with individuals facing a variety of challenges, including sexual deviancy, sexual offending, addiction disorders, ADHD, and intimacy issues. Additionally, Giselle has worked extensively with victims of sexual abuse, helping them and their families navigate the healing process. Her core belief in the importance of rehabilitation is founded on offering genuine positive regard and being a non-judgmental listener.
Giselle’s therapeutic focus includes a humanistic and psychodynamic approach, tailored to individuals dealing with intimacy issues, identity development, and self-esteem related to their sexuality, both individually and within relationships. Her warm, straightforward, and open-minded demeanor creates a safe and welcoming space for clients to express themselves and work towards their personal goals.
